Thought you had to wait a long time to see the first concept of a Nokia Windows Phone? Think again! It’s been less than a single day since Nokia officially announced it would be making Windows Phones but already a concept device exists and Engadget have managed to obtain a picture.
Engadget say that the devices seen here are concepts, designed to show what such a device would look like but, and I don’t know about you, I really like it, it’s got a certain style.
The biggest difference between these and standard Nokias is the size. Nokias these days have been getting a bit porky, it looks like their handset division went on a crash diet and weight loss program to get ready for its date with Windows Phone.
Regardless, the fact that this photo exists can give reassurance to anyone who is waiting on an actual Nokia Windows Phone. It looks like you wouldn’t have to wait until this coming winter to own one. This concept looks remarkably polished (and while there’s still a remote chance it’s a very good CGI) ready for production.
There’s no word yet on when the company will start rolling out its first Windows Phones but if the final handsets will look anything like these, they will be enough to get the masses very excited indeed.
